How Fashionable Are You While Travelling?

A major concern for all of us while travelling has rightfully been ‘what to wear’ as clothes form an integral part of our travelling experience. If you ever thought picking up the right kind of clothes and dressing up do not go hand in hand, we bring you different looks to suit your travel needs in our very own style file for ‘Him’ and ‘Her’

Desert

While travelling to hot and humid areas, comfort dressing is the  key. One can’t wear leather pants and roam around in the middle of a desert just because it is in fashion for that season. However, one can perfect the art of stylish dressing even while sweating it out (quite literally).

Team up a playsuit or a nice long sleeved top & high waisted shorts (still in fashion, people) with a nice straw hat and complete this look with  panelled brogues and a nice big pair of sunnies to beat the heat while you explore beautiful deserts around the world.

Guys can opt for a cool pastel colored shirt with either chino pants or camouflage print shorts. Add a keffiyeh to the outfit along with a pair of aviators to beat the heat and you are ready to explore vast deserts across the world.

Monsoon

Travelling to places during the monsoons can be quite tricky because you always need to pack an umbrella or a raincoat to save yourself from getting wet in the rain. Go casual chic with a denim shirt paired with comfy leggings or a fun printed jumpsuit and add a fun colored water resistant backpack to the outfit. Pick up a pair of trainers or ballerinas which don’t cost a bomb but are comfortable for your feet and will help you walk through muddy roads.

For the men, we recommend nice polo t-shirts and a waterproof jacket on top paired with dark colored jeans/trousers because let’s face it, monsoon season can leave a  lot of mud stains if you aren’t careful. Enjoy your monsoon walk with open sandals or comfy shoes which will protect your feet from cuts or infections. Pack your clothes in a water repellent backpack and hit the road (monsoon style).

Beach

For Her

Laze at the beach in a monochrome bikini and add a printed cover up to complete your look. Walk around in open/thong sandals because they look good and are ideal for long walks on the beach. Add a hat and a pair of your favorite sunnies to get BEACH READY!

For Him

Always wanted to be a beach bum? Then simply  dress like one! Grab a tank top or plain white t-shirt and pair it up with linen shorts or bright hawaii printed shorts and add a pair of fun colored  flip flops to it.  Accessories needed to look while to chill at the beach are : A straw  hat, a beaded wristband, a nice pair of sunglasses.

Hill/Mountain

For Her

While travelling to the beautiful mountains across the globe team up warm woollen cardigans with super warm leggings/jeggings. Add a warm scarf and floral printed boots to complete the look. Pack your travel essentials in an oversized backpack and go on a long trail.

While travelling to the high altitudes, you need to pack warm sweatshirts and hoodies and wear them with nice jeans/trousers which are comfy and will protect you from the harsh terrain. Invest in a pair of nice boots with good grip and you are good to go. Add a cool bracelet along with a nice warm scarf and you are just about ready to explore the hills in style.

So, what are you waiting for? Get there, in style!
